SCROLL
FILMMAKING
As a filmmaker, Phoebe’s work delves into the profound connections we have with the world and each other, exploring both public and private spaces to capture the visceral experience of life.
Phoebe visualises bodies in space, choreographing the fusion of body, composition and camera to reveal joy, intimacy, conflict, tenderness, suspense and everything in between.
She is captivated by the psychological complexities of being human, especially the emotional messiness that defines our inner lives. Her work involves continually questioning who is granted space — both literally and metaphorically — and under what conditions, exploring the terms of belonging and identity.
This approach allows her style to blend conceptualism with authentic storytelling, capturing the interplay between individual and societal perceptions.
